Recent Munchies

17 Oct

Hey everyone! So glad you liked my Pear Muffins with Dill! Even if you’re unsure about the dill part, you can just make them with pear (or even apple!) and they’ll be amazing.

Also, the title of yesterday’s post “Muffins are for people who don’t have the nads to eat cake for breakfast” comes from the TV show Kitchen Confidential. It was a couple years ago, and only lasted one season. But it was good! Bradley Cooper was in it, but it was before he got really famous. Maybe I’m just a culinary school nerd, lol.

I hope you all had a good weekend, I spent part of mine making arts and crafts projects! So much fun, I haven’t been creative like that in a long time!

Anyways, today I’ve got some recent eats for you! I hope you find them as exciting as I do!

Pina Colada coconut milk yogurt with TJ's Granola

Humus plate! Hummus with olives, cucumbers, peppers, and tons of Hot and Spicy Cheez its

oohhh emmmm geee, Hot and spicy cheez its. My cousin introduced me to them when we were on vacation, and I am in love. I only buy them once in a blue moon though, as a treat.

Pasta Primavera

I was trying to make the Pasta Primavera that one of my favorite local restaurants makes, but it didn’t turn out the same. It was still good though! (Oh, and p.s.- this is the serving bowl. It’s not all for me!)

Leftovers! pasta and the blob of red is a meatless meatloaf covered in marinara sauce. And of course, hummus and some dippers!

Stir Fry!

I ate this stir fry with some of these. Normally, when I make stir fries they’re either hit or miss, but this one was definitly a hit! And I normally don’t write down what I put in them or how much, so I can never recreate them, but this time I did, so I’ll be posting the recipe sometime this week hopefully!

Did you have a good weekend, or do anything exciting? Have you ever tried hot and spicy cheez its? What have your recent eats been like?

mmmmmm I’m missing cheezits over here in London. Not the best for you, but they’re the one thing I still love no matter how bad they are. Heck I think you could have eaten all that pasta, it doesn’t look like too much.
